A 2008 Vacuum Ad
I'd say the "obvious design flaw" would be the fact that, apparently, vacuums can only be operated by women. Fine, I concede that the vintage footage is probably accurate but come on, the end scene with the modern women's feet gracefully walking around her new vacuum cleaner? How many women wear high heels when they vacuum? We're not on the set of Mad Men here. Or how about a man vacuuming for once? I heard it happens from time to time.

Gah, it's the same with those commercials where women are being courted by their old mops etc. Last I checked, I never had anything close to a love affair with cleaning!
