I've been mucking around with the digital Canon lent to me for my photojournalism class. I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'm not sure if I'll ever be an exceptionally talented photographer, but I think that it's important for journalists to learn how to handle a camera. I love the idea of being, at least somewhat, self-sufficient in my craft. Stories just happen, so to have a camera handy to capture an image for an article would be a great asset. And heck, cameras are just plain fun. I'm downright trigger happy with this thing.
